Army Community Service (ACS) and the Headquarters Commandant's Office host a monthly one-day Newcomer Orientation for newly arrived personnel. The first half of the day is hosted by ACS and is appropriate for the Service Member and Family Members. The second half of the day is hosted by the Headquarters Commandant's Office and provides work specific information. Call ACS at +1(305) 437-2639 to register. Families requiring day care should contact Child, Youth & School Services (CYSS) at +1(305) 437-1141 to determine if hourly care is available.

When a newcomer in-processes through Army Community Service, he or she is automatically registered for the Newcomer Orientation.
